Dr. Dennis Arn is a 1977 graduate of the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Immediately after graduating, he accepted a position at Desert Inn Animal Hospital. He took over the practice in 1980 and began to transform the hospital into the elite animal medical center of which he had always dreamed. His expertise in canine reproduction led to the addition of the International Canine Semen Bank of Nevada, located within Desert Inn Animal Hospital. Dr. Arn routinely serves as veterinarian at the Silver State Dog Show and is a member of AAHA, AVMA, and CCVMA.
He loves spending time with his wife Debbie, his children Kristen and Scott, and his German Shorthair Pointer named Shade.
Dr. Scott Lingwall graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2000. Dr. Lingwall joined Desert Inn Animal Hospital in April 2004.
He shares his home with Olivia, his Doberman, and his Abyssinian cat, Mondavi. Dr. Lingwall likes to be quoted saying, “We are put here on this planet by God to make the world a better place.” He is Desert Inn’s Medical Director.
Dr. Joel Farnsworth is a Las Vegas native who has worked for Desert Inn Animal Hospital since he was 16 years old! In 1994, Dr. Farnsworth graduated from Colorado State University and has been one of our veterinarians ever since. He has special interests in surgery, endoscopy, and exotic animal medicine.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Stacey, and their sons, Christian and Kevin. Dr. Farnsworth loves the fact that every day brings new challenges.
Dr. Kimberly Franco is an Associate Veterinarian at Desert Inn Animal Hospital. Her main professional interests are in soft tissue surgery, endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery, and internal and preventative medicine. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, her love and passion for animals grew after she began bottle feeding and taking care the runt of a litter of puppies, named Jasmine. Her inspiration for Veterinary Medicine was solidified after becoming a technician at a veterinary clinic and after working at Shark Reef as a Naturalist. She graduated with a Bachelors in Biologic Science at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, before pursuing a degree of veterinary medicine at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2008.
On her spare time, Kimberly enjoys hiking, taking naps, and trying different types of foods and spending time with her mother and her adorable and high energy mixed breed dogs, named Sombra and Lluvia.
Dr. Coy has known that she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 7 years old. She followed her dreams and earned her undergraduate degrees in biology and performance piano from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2007. Dr. Coy received her DVM from Colorado State University in 2011. She spent the following years practicing In Utah, Connecticut and Florida. Dr. Coy enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a special interest in surgery and dentistry.
Dr. Andrew Mong has been practicing here at Desert Inn Animal Hospital since 2006. He was born and raised in Amherst, NY, and received both his undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Cornell University. His veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, oncology, dentistry, orthopedics, ultrasonography and preventative wellness care. Dr. Mong teaches technician dentistry at PIMA Medical Institute here in Las Vegas.
In his free time he enjoys movies, video games, playing oboe, and spending time with his four cats, dachshund, and golden retriever.
Dr. Rayburn was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Animal Science in 2008 before moving to Scotland. There he attended the University of Edinburgh and graduated with his veterinary degree in 2017. Dr. Rayburn’s primary interests in medicine are cardiology, pathology, and client education. In his free time Dr. Rayburn enjoys traveling, video games and snow skiing.
Dr. Taylor Campione has lived all over the United States and has traveled a lot outside of it. The doctor has completed her B.S. in Biology with a Chemistry minor in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she played NCAA soccer. She then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Western University in Southern California. Dr. Campione enjoys all of the variety in veterinary medicine—dentistry, surgery, ultrasonography and international medicine. During vet school she volunteered abroad in Asia and Central America providing aid for homeless pets. Outside of work she loves surfing, snowboarding, climbing, scuba diving, and traveling. Dr. Campione has two adorable cats and is looking forward to adding a pup to the pack soon.
