Dr. Dennis Arn is a 1977 graduate of the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine.  Immediately after graduating he accepted a position at Desert Inn Animal Hospital.  He took over the practice in 1980 and began to transform Desert Inn Animal Hospital into the elite animal medical center that he had always dreamed of.  Dr. Arn is also one of the few veterinarians licensed to freeze and store semen.  His expertise in canine reproduction led to the addition of the International Canine Semen Bank of Nevada, located within Desert Inn Animal Hospital.  He has been active with the S.P.C.A. and in many dog clubs.  Dr. Arn routinely serves as veterinarian at the Silver State Dog Show and is a member of AAHA, the AVMA, and the CCVMA.  Dr. Arn loves spending time with his 2 human children, Kristen and Scott as well as his 2 German Shorthair Pointers named Shadow and Shade.

Dr. Sam Lynch began his veterinary career as a small child on his father's dairy farm in Fulton, Missouri.  He followed his academic path to the University of Missouri located in Columbia, Missouri and graduated in 1982 from the College of Veterinary Medicine.  Although his family roots were in animal husbandry, he quickly fell in love with companion animal medicine and the rest is history...22 years later he is still enthusiastic in his profession of veterinary medicine and would choose it again in a heartbeat!  In 2001 he combined his long time labor of love, Chaparral Pet Hospital, with the family here at Desert Inn.  Together we can share our visions of excellence and provide a more comprehensive companion animal healthcare facility with unprecedented state of the art veterinary healthcare for pets in the Las Vegas community as well as the surrounding desert southwest.  Dr. Lynch enjoys his pet children, a Standard Poodle mix named Pumpkin, a Yorkie named Gidget,  and Jack Russell Terrier named Eddie, along with his human children, Sarah & Laura.
