Desert Inn Animal Hospital is a progressive, team oriented, AAHA member hospital.  We successfully practice “state-of-the-heart” as well as state-of-the-art veterinary medicine in a modern 11,000 square foot facility. Our veterinarians can provide many services including laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, ultrasound, and reproduction support.

Our family friendly staff currently includes 10 veterinarians, and an extensive support team of licensed veterinary technicians, assistant veterinary technicians, customer care specialists, pharmacy technicians, and animal caretakers.

       Established in 1933 by leaders in the veterinary profession, AAHA is the only exclusive companion animal veterinary association. AAHA is well known for its high standards in veterinary practices and quality pet care and promotes those standards within the veterinary profession and to the public. The Association develops benchmarks of excellence, business practice standards, informative publications and educational programs designed to help companion animal hospitals thrive. AAHA believes in setting "The Standard of Veterinary Excellence."        Becoming accredited through AAHA is no easy task, this voluntary achivement means our staff strives everyday to uphold our hospital to AAHA's standards of care. Our practice and staff undergo constant continuing education to effectively bring our clients and patients the very latest and best medical care. There are over 900 standards that we need to excell at everyday including; medical records, anesthesia, pain management, dentistry, surgery, client service; just to name a few. In order to keep our accredidation we have a consultant from AAHA who conducts an evaluation of our hospital, records and services. Our last evaluation was in October 2009, we passed with flying colors!
